WWE WrestleMania 41 Day 2 Highlights: John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes To Create History!

Iyo Sky keeps it simple with her statement and mentions that she is honoured and grateful for the match and is over the moon after that performance to retain her title.

Logan mentions how he has had moments throughout his career, and his win at WrestleMania is no different. He respects the legend that is AJ Styles. He felt that he was in the zone and was in his element. He hopes to continue to prove why he is valuable for this business.

John Cena raises his title as he beats Ric Flair to become the man with the most World Titles here. It will be interesting to see how the future pans out with Cena as the champion.

John Cena creates history here as he gets the win, dethrones Cody Rhodes to win the 17th World Title here. He brings Travis Scott in and the artist raises the new champion’s arm here.

Cody Rhodes looks at Travis Scott here and delivers the Cross Rhodes on the artist. But John Cena looks to gear up and hit with the title but Rhodes counters and snatches the title. Cena begs for mercy but sneaks in the low blow and attacks the champion.

John Cena raises Travis Scott’s arm and then proceeds to attack Rhodes but the champion counters here and delivers the Cross Rhodes. Goes for the cover but Scott pulls the referee out.

What do we have here? Travis Scott makes his entrance here and slowly makes his way onto the ring.

John Cena looks to turn the tides as he exposes a turnbuckle here. He hits Rhodes on the corner here and then delivers the AA but the champion does not intend on backing down.

John Cena lands a third AA and then locks in the STF here. Rhodes looks to drag himself onto the bottom rope here but he bites his arm to remove the hold. Cena however drags back the Champion and sets the hold once again. He drags the champion once more but now Rhodes retaliates and also hits the referee as well.

John Cena puts Cody Rhodes on the top rope and delivers the Attitude Adjustment from up above here. Goes for the cover but Cody Rhodes kicks out.

John Cena turns back the clock, lands an unexpected Attitude Adjustment here and goes for the cover but Rhodes kicks out at 2, leaving a smile on Cena’s face.

John Cena whips out the shoulder tackle and sets up Cody Rhodes for the five-knuckle shuffle but Rhodes puts in the eye poke here to regain momentum and deliver the Cody-Cutter here. Goes for the cover but Cena kicks out at 2.

John Cena’s experience comes in usehere and he is able to deliver a Tornado DDT onto the champion to go for the cover but Rhodes kicks out at 2.

Cody Rhodes seems to have the upper-hand but there are moments where John Cena seems to remain resilient and bide his time.

Right then, we are moments away from the start of the match. The ring announcer makes the customary introductions, and we are underway.

Next up it is the champion, Cody Rhodes who makes is way in. A bunch of dirt bikes comes in making a few wheelies as the champion enters.

John Cena makes his entrance here. Not the typical entrance we have seen here as there is a blacked out titantron here just displaying his name.

Just before the main-event, Stone Cold’s theme music hits and the big man comes in on the four-wheeler here.

Becky Lynch gets the hot tag here and takes control. She gets the arm bar against Liv Morgan here, but Rodriguez interferes. Lyra attacks Rodrigue,z and Lynch lands the Man Slam here to take the win.

Lyra comes in next but Rodriguez find the upper hand here with the alley oop from the corner. Its a dominant charge here by the champions.

Becky Lynch steps in here and she will go up against Raquel Rodriguez. She starts off with the strike here and goes for the sleeper hold here.

Lya Valkyria, the Women’s Intercontinental Champion makes her entrance but her partner remains a big mystery. Its Becky Lynch who makes her return and comes in. A massive pop from the crowd here.

Up next it is the Women’s Tag Team titles match and Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez make their entrance.

Logan’s manager sneaks in and looks to hand over the brass knuckles but Karrion Cross interferes here. AJ comes in, throws the manager out and attacks Kross here. Logan Paul capitalists and delivers the Paulverizer here to take the win.

Logan Paul comes in and delivers the Styles Clash here but AJ Styles comes in and does the same move to Logan.

Logan Paul comes close here with the win to stat thingsoff and has the upper hand. But AJ Styles manages t recover and regain the momentum.

AJ Styles’ music hits and recieves a loud cheer from the crowd here as he makes his way onto the ring.

Logan Paul comes in first and he holds a camera whilst making his entrance here.

Randy Orton helps Joe Hendry up here and raises his hand in a show of support. But he once again delivers the RKO from out of nowhere here and does his version of Hendry’s signature pose.

Joe Hendry has a brief period of momentum. He goes for the chokeslam but Orton eyepokes him to turn the tides. But Hendry counters again and delivers a fine slam here. He looks to hype up the crowd with his signature pose but Randy Orton comes in with the RKO to take the win.

Randy Orton goes for the RKO straight away but Hendry counters and goes for the pin but Orton kicks out at 2.

What do we have here? Joe Hendy the TNA World Champion comes in as the mystery opponent for Randy Orton.

Up next, we have Randy Orton coming in, and he was supposed to face Kevin Owens, but due to the latter being ruled out, Orton has issued an open challenge here.

Bron Breakker comes into the ring and lines up the spear onto Penta here. He delivers but Mysterio interferes and delivers the 619 to the champion. Whilst going for the frogsplash, Balor steps in and attacks. He then delivers the Coup de Grace onto Breakker but Mysterio lands the frog splash on Balor to take the win here as well.

Penta delivers the Mexican Destroyer onto Dominik and goes for the pin. But Carlito who is at ringside pulls him out and looks to do something through the announcer’s table. But Bron Breakker comes in and spears Carlito through the table here.

Bron Breakker looks to take charge but Penta interferes to change things up. Dominik attacks here and sees an opportunity to set up Finn Balor here for the 619. But Finn counters here while Penta interferes with the Pentadriver.
