'They Haven't Seen Me In 10+ Years': CM Punk On Upcoming WWE European Tour
CM Punk requested to work WWE's entire European tour to reconnect with his global fan base.

WWE superstar CM Punk has revealed he requested to work the Stamford-based wrestling promotion’s entire European tour. The Second City Saint was one of WWE’s premier attractions when the company embarked upon an 11-city tour in March. It included live broadcasts of their signature weekly event, WWE RAW from Brussels, Glasgow and London.
Punk opened up about the tour in a WWE video ahead of WrestleMania 41’s Night 1. Despite his advancing years, the former champion claimed he wanted to be featured on all live shows. “These tours are so few and far between now that I made sure that I requested to be on all of them ’cause there’s nothing like this connection I have with the audience," he said in the YouTube video.

CM Punk’s primary reason for participating in the full European tour was to compete in front of his global fan base. The Chicago-based wrestler acknowledged his overseas supporters hadn’t seen him compete live for over a decade. Punk wanted to change that during the 11-city tour. “Over here in Europe, they haven’t seen me in 10+ years," he said. “There’s not a drug in the world that can replicate just the feeling of doing what I do. So this is special for me, it’s special for them, it’s fun for all of us," he concluded.
Since his surprise return at Survivor Series 2023, CM Punk has been enjoying life back in WWE. The Chicago native returned to the wrestling promotion after pursuing careers in the UFC and AEW. Despite being happy with his current role in the company, Punk believes the WWE roster deserves higher pay for what they are doing. “Everybody’s on flat salary, and we get paid stupid money for what we do. And yes, I do think we should all get paid more based on things I see the company doing and shouting from the rooftops [about] how much money TKO is making and all this other stuff," Punk said during an appearance on The Ringer Wrestling Show, as per multiple outlets.
CM Punk fulfilled his dream of headlining WrestleMania in Las Vegas last week. The Second City Saint closed the show alongside Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns on Night 1 of the flagship event. Punk conceded a defeat in the Triple-Threat competition after his former best friend, Paul Heyman, turned on him. It allowed Rollins to walk away with a victory at the Show of Shows.
