The post comes after Pakistan launched a series of aerial attacks to target over a dozen locations, including the Jammu civil airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia and military stations in the region on Thursday evening. The attacks came just a day after India carried out precision strikes on terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under Operation Sindoor. However, all incoming threats were successfully intercepted by India’s S-400 air defence system.
Previously, several other actors and filmmakers from the film industry also took to their respective social media handles to support the army and laud Operation Sindoor. Among others, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Preity Zinta, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Rohit Shetty and Milind Soman also expressed support for the operation.
Actress turned politician Kangana Ranaut also took to her X handle and wrote, “Operation Sindoor: Zero tolerance to terror. The Indian Armed Forces launched a precision mission, Operation Sindoor; 9 terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir neutralised."
