Rising star Ibrahim Ali Khan, who recently made headlines with his impactful debut performance in Nadaaniyan, has opened up about his journey into the world of cinema and what it felt like stepping onto a film set for the very first time. In an exclusive conversation with News18, Ibrahim took a nostalgic look back at the early days of his career, revealing that his actual first day on set was for a film that has yet to be released.
“Actually, the first day of shoot I ever did was for a movie that’s not out yet. It was with a phenomenal actress, Kajol, and a superstar in the South, Prithviraj," he shared. Speaking fondly of his experience, he added, “Working with Prithviraj was life changing. Such a cool guy, what a star. That is when I truly fell in love with the South industry."

Ibrahim didn’t shy away from expressing his admiration for the South Indian film industry, even revealing an ardent desire to be a part of it in the near future. “There’s something really intriguing about the industry, and I really want to do a movie there. I wonder who will work with me? I hope someone will. One thing is for certain—Prithviraj is a powerhouse."
Despite his enthusiasm, Ibrahim admitted that the first day of shooting was filled with nerves. “I learnt a lot by observing Prithviraj, and Kajol is phenomenal. But working with both of them on the first day? That was nerve-wracking."
