He posted beautiful photos with quiet days in Jammu and wrote a thought-provoking note, rebuking those who glorify war. “Sleepless and shattered, stuck out of India as my family in jammu endures last night’s attack. My whole family, children, and parents face the terror of drones and unrest, yet some people glorify this war from the comfort of their homes, posting on social media. It’s not that easy for those near the border. Thanks to our IAF And Indian Army praying for safety and peace," his note read.

The actor, who hails from Jammu, shared his thoughts about the situation there. “#Numb Pray for Jammu pray for our families", he separately posted on his Instagram story. Take a look:

Comedian Samay Raina, who is also from Jammu, wrote a note on Instagram to calm people down amid the brimming tension. “My prayers are with everyone in Jammu. Sleep peacefully and believe in the Indian army Jai Hind," he wrote. In yet another post, the India’s Got Latent judge mentioned a long, emotional conversation he had with his father, who is currently residing in Jammu.

Raina’s statement followed a wave of aerial strikes by Pakistan on Thursday evening, targeting more than a dozen sites including the Jammu civil airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia, and several military installations in the region. These strikes came just a day after India conducted precision attacks on terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as a part of Operation Sindoor avenging the ghastly Pahalgam terror attacks. Despite the escalation, India’s S-400 air defence system successfully neutralised the incoming threats.
