Emergency protocols were activated all over, including Dharamshala, where the IPL 2025 match between PBKS and DC was suspended midway (10.2 overs into the match, to be precise), due to a reported blackout (following air raid alerts in neighbouring cities of Jammu and Pathankot).

It has been reported that the BCCI might consider revising the itinerary of the ongoing 18th edition of the Indian Premier League if security concerns increase across the country.
“We are reviewing the situation right now. It is an evolving situation. We haven’t received any directive from the government. The decision will be taken keeping all the logistics in mind," Indian Premier League chief Arun Dhumal told PTI.
